2007 Richard Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon

$ 0.00

Winemaking:

The 2007 growing season was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.  Harvest went perfectly, and wines with a dense, dark cherry emerged.  Wine was aged in 100% French oak (70% new) for 21 months.

The Vineyards:

Grapes were sourced from Garvey (St. Helena) and Hossfeld (Napa)

Tasting Notes:

“Very fine balance sets this lithe and well-crafted wine apart as being one of the more stylish of our newly reviewed Cabernets, and it makes an entirely convincing case that concentration and complexity can come without bombast and bluster. It is ripe and supple and lively, and its deftly placed tannins ensure a long life ahead. It will be ready to enjoy in three to five years, but it has the potential for more.” – Connoisseur’s Guide to CA Wine, Dec. 2011
